Real Estate Broker since 1979: Tim is a North Carolina Real Estate Broker currently affiliated with RE/MAX United, where he has received one of their top awards as a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. Previously Tim worked with Prudential Carolinas Realty from May 1996 to March 2006, where he received one of their top awards as a Legend. In 1979, Tim created Burrell Realty, a firm in Palos Verdes, CA (near Los Angeles). He has sold everything from Condominiums under $75,000 to Estates near $4,000,000 to Office Buildings to Vacant Lots to large Acreage. Tim is consistently one of the highest producing agents at RE/MAX UNITED, and was one of the top agents at Prudential Carolinas Realty and in Southern California.

Real Estate Developer and Contractor: Tim was Vice-President of Burrell, Ltd., a Construction and Land Development corporation, from 1975-1991. He subdivided major parcels of land, custom built fine homes, and obtained zoning approvals from governmental agencies.

Trial lawyer: Tim was a trial lawyer with Young, Henrie & McCarthy and the Law Offices of John McCarthy from 1973 to 1975, where he represented cities, developers, citizen groups and environmental organizations in trials and appeals involving real estate. Tim is still licensed as a California Attorney and has been in good standing with the Bar since 1973.

Carpenter: Tim received a Journeyman Carpenter's Union Card at age 9. He worked his way through Law School as a carpenter.

Both of Tim's parents, Ken and Lorna Burrell, are Realtors. Lorna received her first Real Estate license in the 1950's. Tim has been a real estate broker since 1979.
